The Water Empress embodies the ever-changing nature of water - shifting from shimmering spray, to crystalline shards of scale, to the finest mist that simply dissolves into pure light. Her dark mane embodies the energy of the enigmatic depths of the oceans, whilst her iridescent scales capture the rainbow which only light and water can ignite.

She is a guardian of her realm as well as all those who swim in her waters.

❋ ABOUT THE ELEMENTAL DRAGON SERIES

The dragons featured in my artworks are beings of mist and mystery. They defy logical understanding with long, sinuous, ever-shifting bodies that slip in and out of solid reality. They are beings of luminescence, iridescence and benevolence.
