If you know his music, you know how it builds—those rippling piano notes that feel like light spreading across water. In that moment, the horse I saw wasn’t just running through a sunset. The horse was the sunset.
I wanted to capture that feeling of being both solid and unreal at the same time. The challenge was to paint the vibrancy of the sun’s rays dissolving into the horse’s form, blending the physical animal with pure light and sparkles. It pushed me technically—layering acrylics to get that glow without losing the power of the animal—but I am so delighted with the result. It feels less like a picture of a horse and more like a memory of a feeling: freedom, light, and music made visible.

Medium: Professional-grade Acrylic Paint on a Circular Canvas with golden metallic accents. The edges of the canvas are also painted and include golden light language all around the edge.
