Solstice Blessings

It seemed summer arrived here in West Wales overnight and the day of the solstice was hot with clear skies. After such a wet and cloudy winter I feel I have to take every opportunity I can to get out when the weather is good, so when a friend invited me over to hers to enjoy a picnic by the ocean to watch the sundown I couldn’t refuse.

I’m incredibly lucky to live in a place that is largely unspoiled by tourists and we had views over the spectacular Irish Sea and Cardigan island all to ourselves and our dogs.

Wales has an amazing coastal path system so we joined the path to a favourite look-out spot and settled down amongst the wildflowers to enjoy the view and the potential glimpse of dolphins fishing in the bay. We also discovered a lovely swimming spot for future adventures in the waters!

Solstice blessings to you and yours!
