Four of Swords

Hi friends,

Over the last few months I have been learning tarot from a dear friend and talented tarot reader and intuitive Carlos Mariano. I decided to hit pause on my Spirit Awakening Tarot project a while back as I felt stuck on it and so when the opportunity arose to train with Carlos I leaped at the chance.

Four of Swords

Spending several months doing a deep-dive on the meanings behind each card, the rich symbology and the structure of tarot helped me wrap my head around this amazing tool for personal wisdom and insight. It also helped me see more clearly what I liked about certain tarot decks, and how I like a deck to work with me and my intuition. In short, it helped me get clear on my direction for my deck as well as feeling like I am now an accomplished tarot reader.

We have since decided to make this deck a collaboration, with Carlos writing the guidebook and me doing the art! I’m excited to have him along for the ride!

I’m also excited to share that I’ve just finished the first card for the deck - The Four of Swords. Maybe a random choice of all the cards in the deck to tackle first but fun regardless to tackle the most gnarly suit of tarot - the Swords.
