26th in the Totem Project, the bear may be a fierce creature, with his formidable size and bulk but he is also a creature who slumbers through the winter and snacks on fresh grown spring flowers when he emerges from his winter den. The Bear Totem encourages introspection and deep inward thinking. He symbolises strength and confidence as well as the need for solitude, quiet and rest.
