COLOURING PENCIL WORKSHOP
Hi friends, this wonderful and popular video series on colouring pencil techniques used to be hosted on Skillshare and I’m delighted to be able to host it here on my website instead! *
Please feel free to listen to my introduction video, and then scroll down below to find out all about the techniques and tricks you’re going to learn from this workshop.
*In the video series you will hear me occasionally reference ‘skillshare’ even though this series is now hosted solely here on my website! I hope that’s ok!
Learn Colouring Pencil Techniques to Create Stunning Animal Art
Join my colouring pencil workshop and learn how to draw animals in a unique, colourful, and whimsical style. In this video series, I will walk you through my creative process of designing totem animals, starting from the initial sketches to the final artwork.
Who is this course for?
No matter if you are an aspiring artist or an experienced one, this workshop will provide useful and inspiring content to expand your skillset. By the end you will be well on your way to creating a colourful and unique animal artwork using coloured pencils.
Materials you will need:
Pencil, sketch pad, highlighters and reference images
Coloured pencils - preferably professional-grade - I use Prismacolor pencils
Black or coloured paper - if you wish to replicate the look of my totem art I recommend Strathmore Artagain black paper, white paper is also fine too!
Metallic acrylic paints - not essential, but a nice to have (and a fine paintbrush)
See the course outline below for all the information we will be covering:
