Sword of Light

I do love painting a beautiful and decorative sword. There are so many details in what is otherwise quite a simple composition. Complex decorative forms are engraved into the blade, a bird appears to be taking flight from the hilt of the sword and pulses of light and energy emit from the blade which is less a weapon and more of an energetic tool. As the guidebook explains this sword “can be invoked by all those working in the light to help them move beyond blockages and limitations and to sever cords of fear.” This Sword of Light is commonly wielded by Archangel Michael who lends support to all lightworkers and people endeavouring to make a positive change in the world.
