When Alessa approached me to collaborate on a new vision for her retreat space nestled in the forests of New Mexico, I was thrilled to reconnect. Having previously worked together on the branding and illustrations for her Soul Merge Healing business, it was an honor to continue our creative partnership for this magnificent new project.
After exploring several brand concepts, Alessa was drawn to the deer spirit—a symbol I had worked with during her Soul Merge branding. It felt deeply meaningful to weave the energy of the deer into this new endeavor, creating a connection between her healing work and the retreat space. Together, we developed a visual identity that beautifully reflected the essence of the Forest Spirit Retreat.
Once the branding was finalized, our focus shifted to the website. With the building work complete, it was time to bring this extraordinary retreat to life online. The result is a digital space that captures the tranquility and uniqueness of the retreat, offering visitors a glimpse into the serene experience awaiting them.
Bringing the brand to the website
Seeing a project through to completion is always such a rewarding experience, especially when it involves carrying the vision behind the logo and branding seamlessly into the website. For this project, it meant carefully selecting typography that not only aligned with the brand’s identity but also worked harmoniously within the web framework. We used the nuanced color palette to create a cohesive and visually engaging site that flows beautifully and truly captures the essence of the brand. A key focus was showcasing the stunning venue photography, ensuring that visitors could fully immerse themselves in the retreat’s unique atmosphere before making a booking.
