Adventures in Norway

To celebrate my 40th birthday this year I gifted myself something I’ve always wanted to do and I attended The Mythic Soul Retreat with artist Adrianne Tamar Arachne and evolutionary astrologer Sol With of Polaris Astrology in Norway at the stunning Dharma Mountain retreat.

I just got back after a week away from work commitments and social media and pretty much everything but Art, Astrology, Yoga and Meditation.

We spent our days eating the most gorgeous nourishing food, talking Evolutionary Astrology (a never ending source of amazing insights I am willingly plunging headlong into), practicing yoga, meditating and most importantly ploughing all of that nourishment into beautiful mythic soul portraits led by our artist teacher Adrianne.

I can’t begin to share how special this week was. The location is stunning and the peace that it emits is palpable. You only have to walk a few paces from the carefully tended gardens to feel like you are in the depths of the Norwegian wilderness.

Mythic Soul Explorations

With Adrianne’s guidance I was able to find my way back to a traditional art practice I had long since set aside in the pursuit of a successful art career that was focused on digital illustration. I was yearning to return to traditional media and she helped me find a way back. I was able to uncover a mythic soul portrait magically woven with my own astrology archetypes and given the time and space to uncover it all and not feel rushed or under some intense deadline.

The astrology teachings were such perfect inspiration for the artistic mind and it was such a pleasure to watch the fellow retreat attendees share their creative process and own unique star charts as well.

I will forever cherish this retreat and its lessons and blessings and I certainly hope to return to Norway again soon!
