Orion
This is Orion. A record of a unique and life altering vision I received in a dream this year. I’ve never had a dream like this before (that I remember) and maybe I will be lucky enough to experience it again soon. I feel I got to touch what many of those who have a near death experiences describe - a sense of one-ness, of dissolving peacefully into the velvety black void that wasn’t at all terrifying but the ultimate peace.
The last two weeks have been intensely difficult for various reasons and so it’s no surprise to me that this Angel finally asked to be painted as I realised I needed to take some time out to paint for me. To stop giving and for once give back to myself. So here he is.
