Lion’s Gate
As is often the way with my intuitive artwork, this image came to me in a flash of insight, almost as if the image had been downloaded into my head in the space of a second. I hadn’t really heard of the astrological interest in the Lion’s Gate which happens on August 8th, and it was only because my friend asked me about it and as I was typing a response this image landed in my head.
Here is the message that came through with this vision:
“I am Lion, I am the eternal well of courage that resides within all of you; I am all that is known in your world of the deep well of courage that you all draw upon, the deep pride you all feel - even though at times you feel you need to hide this pride. We are Lion and we are prideful for we know our power, we know our magic, our strength and our intensity and we wish for you too to know this about yourselves. For many years now you have been told to not have pride, to not be proud and to hide your true knowing of what you are but we are here to say that it is in pride, it is in courage that one can truly understand themselves, one can truly come into awareness of all the abilities they have gained on their journey, all the lessons that courage has taught them and to be proud of these things. A lion never asks more than what it can be, it stands wholly and completely within its power, in its intensity and it knows this, as a solid foundation upon which it acts and operates. So we ask for you to stand in your courage dear ones, stand in your pride - witness the journey you have been on and take time to look back, survey your grand domain and how it has come forth to this, and then step out proudly with regal head raised high into the next meaningful moment, following where your great feet take you, where the scents of the wind take you and where the beating of your courageous heart takes you. And so it is. ”
