Hiraeth
Hiraeth by Jennifer Hawkyard
Hiraeth is a beautiful Welsh world, it loosely translates to 'nostalgia' or 'homesickness', many Welsh people claim 'hiraeth' is a word which cannot be translated, meaning more than solely "missing something" or "missing home." For me I feel a sense of longing whenever I see a horse, I've been a horse rider my whole life but never a horse owner. I feel most at home on the back of a horse, most at ease and most alive. As a result, most of my efforts in life have been to some day be in a position to own my horse. One day.
