Birthright
This piece was painted shortly after they overturned Roe vs Wade in the USA . I often use my spiritual practice to seek wisdom and guidance when things happen in this world that I don’t understand and can’t rationalise.
For the first time I decided to tune into the Divine Feminine energy to try and better understand what was happening. It was a very powerful experience, one in which I cried a lot but also felt very cared for and protected (a feeling that has been stripped away in the world we now live in). Below is the message that came through about these times we walk through.
Do you have a message for women today?
“You are not done. You are not defeated. You will rise again, glorious and reborn dear ones. You are not done, the battle is not over, this is another great step on the advancement of mankind, of human kind, of woman kind, of all kind. This is another great step and though it may feel like a backwards step, like retreat, like defeat this is not that, and so I share with you now the heart love, the heart devotion, the loving peace of all those who come to this world in the female gender, all those who take on the carrying form, the gentle form, the life giving form. Now is the time to not retreat, now is the time to step forward, to stand in your divine power and energy and bring the light, let it pour from you in such vivid bright and fiery ways that it will be blinding, the energy that will pour forth will enrich, will inspire will nourish and will bring life into this situation. For to be the woman form is to be life bringing, peace holder, life carer, it is to nurture, to love, to sacrifice. Women know this, they have known this for eons, it is why they have often stepped back, why they instinctively protect, when wars rage they still yet protect, they still bring life, they still nourish. You will come into greatness now, where equality will at last rise in your society, it is rising now, the great fire you feel burning in your belly is the fire of womankind, bringing forth the energy of life to speak now for herself, to speak now for her children, to speak now for birthright. So speak now dear sisters, speak now and be heard, yours is the time and yours is the birth right. Speak now. Yours is the power, yours is the glory, yours is the birthright. Be brave. Be brave, be brave. ”
